China's national standard gb/t "plastic composite film for packaging, bag dry compounding, extrusion compounding" stipulates that the total amount of solvent residues shall not exceed 5mg/m2, and benzene solvents shall not be detected (the detection limit is 0.01mg/m2). Among the products exceeding the standard, the detected residual solvents are mostly volatile solvents such as ethyl acetate, acetone, ethanol, etc
it is understood that the solvent residues in composite food packaging mainly come from various solvents used in the production process of printing, compounding and coating of composite food packaging. Although the toxicity of solvents such as ethanol and ethyl acetate is low, the taste of food will be affected when the solvent residue is high. Therefore, China's national standard gb/t clearly stipulates the limit of the total amount of solvent residue, especially for benzene solvents with high toxicity, it puts forward a strict limit of 0.01mg/m2 that cannot be detected.
